The visit to the data centre in the Baltic States was very interesting. The centre was very modern and had state-of-the-art technology. Everything was very well organised, from the infrastructure to the way resources were managed. Security was one of the priorities, with advanced systems in place to ensure that data was protected at all times.
The centre was divided into different areas, each with a specific purpose. We saw how the servers were managed, how the ideal conditions for their operation were maintained and how the continuity of services was ensured, even in cases of emergency. Everything was designed to run efficiently and without interruption, with highly trained staff to resolve any issues that might arise.
One very curious thing was how they controlled the temperature, they were constantly monitoring and regulating the temperatures to avoid overheating of the equipment. We were surprised at how well organised everything was, with cables and equipment perfectly distributed.
It gave us a closer look at how these data centres work in the Baltic region, and gave us a clearer picture of the importance of technology infrastructure today. It was certainly an experience that highlights the Baltic States' ability to offer advanced technological services.
